My hope is to order a MSI GT75 gaming laptop this month from HIDEvolution, but I had a question for people who have experience ordering from them.

I have been told that I should get the Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut thermal paste for both the GPU and CPU, however, HIDEvolution, for only $30 more, offers this paste along with the Fujipoly Extreme Thermal Pads. I am a little confused by this, because I have found from forum posts all over the internet that using both thermal pads AND thermal paste is a bad idea, as it could inhibit heat transfer. What is the best option here, if I don't mind spending the extra $30?

    Thank you!

You don't use both Grizzly Conductonaut and Fujipoly Extreme Thermal Pads pads, in the same places. That would be unproductive. However, there are places where Grizzly Conductonaut does not work well, and that is where the Fujipoly Extreme Thermal Pads go.

I have had the Fujipoly Thermal Pads on both my GT73VR Titan Pro and my current GT75 Titan 8RG. I would not buy these laptops without them. Period! They reduce temps by as much as 5C and every degree down is a huge plus point as these CPUs can get really warm but not if you have the Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut + Fujipoly Thermal Pads + I also have the bottom panel mod:

Thank you for the clarification! I think I will get both the Conductonaut and the Fujipoly pads. Considering I am likely getting the i7-8850H/GTX 1070 version, I don't think it is worth it to get the bottom panel mod.

What exactly is the bottom panel mod? I looked at the picture but I don't know the difference from stock.

you see those 2 grills? they are not how it is in the stock bottom panel. That mod cuts 2 holes and puts a mesh to allow more airflow and thus reducing temps by 5C. Every degree of reduced temp matters in these high end laptops with the latest CPUs.

Ahhh I see. Thank you. I have a GT73VR ordered but from XoticPC and they don't offer this mod. Since I don't have mine yet I wasn't sure how this was done. That should be stock.

Hole saw is the easier way to make it nice.
