As far as I know, you can get a protective cover for your keyboard. Dell sells them on their website. Other than that you can go for other minor accessories such as a quicksnap that could strengthen the laptop cover...or a anti glare screen.

If you dont have complete care...get a keyboard cover, i personally think they feel weird, but u never know how you might like it.

Not sure for a whole laptop though...lol sorry to not exactly answer your question.

Covers for the whole laptop don't usually come in plastic, they're usually padded fabric like neoprene or nylon. A plastic cover can protect your screen or keyboard, but for preventing scratches on the exterior, you'll want a full cover. Here's a useful guide that can help you choose. :)

Why not try laptop sleeves. Depending on the design, cushion and protection varies but it will cover up your laptop. I'm still currently looking for one that would fit a 17inch laptop.
