    why not just ask permission? I would think most people wouldn't mind as you are not selling these skins. If you are willing to ask for permission, I would try Deviant Art.

    If you did ask and got the skin made, I would even send a pic of your skinned lappy to the original artist, I am sure they would love to see thier artwork in use.

    yup. i agree. i used to look at deviant art. lots of the things on there were really good. and its basically a sharing thing, so as long as u ask permission, i doubt the artist would say no.
