Can anyone help me out with this? I have a year old Dell M1530 and the Dell logo on the top cover has come off (just the word Dell). I have called Dell and the only solution they had was for me to buy the new top cover for $50. I have looked on EBay and can not find one. Does anyone have an idea where I could find a replacement?

    Why not just make one?
You can easily trace the hole, and either trace it again in autocad, or a drafting software, than you can easily laser cut it out of plexi, aluminum, or whatever you want.
Thats at least what I would do.
