Can anyone help me out with this? I have a year old Dell M1530 and the Dell logo on the top cover has come off (just the word Dell). I have called Dell and the only solution they had was for me to buy the new top cover for $50. I have looked on EBay and can not find one. Does anyone have an idea where I could find a replacement?

Commander Wolf can i haz broadwell?
Replacing the lid is probably the most practical solution. As far as I've seen, you can't buy that little decal by itself. But there are quite a few of 'em on eBay, the lowest at around half of Dell's asking price...

Why not just make one?
You can easily trace the hole, and either trace it again in autocad, or a drafting software, than you can easily laser cut it out of plexi, aluminum, or whatever you want.
Thats at least what I would do.
