looks amazing!!!

very nice! I would never be brave enough to lay a sharpie on my dell. Nice dull :]
-
nice work, have you clear coated it yet? otherwise it will rub off
-
I have it for 1 week and nothing have rubbed off yet. anyway it can be removed with water.
I want to do a better one then coat it... and I'm looking for what material to use -
very nice. i thought it was going to look bad before i opened the thread.
-
I like it, very well done!
and if you can rub it off with water I see that as an advantage. new style everytime you get bored -
Looks very nice.

That looks beautiful. Dell should hire you as their designer
-
Excellent work with a sharpie. I wish I had skills like that in artwork.

yeah, damn good design. you're definitely not the average joe with a sharpie. if you were, your end result would have looked pretty bad but yours looks professionally done!
how about buying a sleeve from these folks after you're satisfied with a design?

(late edit: i think all sharpies are permanent; are you using a water-based pen? or maybe sharpie makes non-permanent pens, too?) -
since I'm not from US so I couldn't order from invisibleshield.com but I ordered this I don't if it has good quality.. If so that's not a a bad idea coat it with those "shields"
all sharpie are permanent, but also depends on what material that's why I said it can be rub off with water ( I don't mean easy but still can) -
this gives me an idea, I wonder what chinese brushed indian ink would look like...
-
the problem is, my notebook is black so i don't know what kind of ink is good (white ink is no so common as black ink)
-
get some white primer car paint and a whole lot of masking tape or plasticene to block off the important parts, you only need a light coating to get some contrast between the black ink and the blackground.
I guess it could be pretty risky though...
white acrylic paint drybrushed or dry sponged onto the surface works aswell, thats how I've primed the edges of my lid so that I dont have to spray around all the crevices -
