after i got my laptop i was cleaning it and since its LCD i guess that the small amount of pressure i was applying was too much and now i have a noticeable pressure/rippling point on my screen. anyway to fix this?

were you applying pressure from the front or from the back?
If you were pressing too hard from the front, you probably damaged it... (permanently). If you were pressing from the back... it's likely the damage is permanent too, but you could try to rub the areas around it (lightly!) to see if the rippling stops.

there is no way to fix it. i had it on another laptop. i had to sell the screen as is on ebay and buy a new refurbished one. lucky for me it only costed about 20 bucks, but mine was more light and dark spots rather than rippling. im not sure what you mean by rippling.

Most likely it is permanent. What exactly do you mean by rippling???

To see rippling gently apply pressure to your lcd (GENTLY!) and see the reaction it has.

I have done this but I have never pushed hard enough to damage a screen this way. Does it stick with the concentric color cirlces if you push too had and ae they static or do they change like when you are pushing?
