Since I had a small accident with some nail polish remover, due to the "Windows Vista" and "Centrino Duo" stickers falling off, i stuck some nail polish remover to get rid of the sticky glue, but it's basically taking a coating off the top of the laptop.

I'm guessing this ain't covered by warranty lol

Anyway is there anyway to get a colour match just to respray this, or isn't it doable?

I would not worry about it too much, but if you want to try and match perhaps a silver paint or paint market might do the trick. I doubt that you'll be able to find a perfect match but there are cans of silver fleck paint on the market. Make sure you do the necessary prep work before painting if you decide to go for it. (cleaning, sanding, prime?, paint, clear coat?) Also be sure to protect the keyboard and LCD from any overspray. I'm gonna move this to the cosmetic modification forum—you might have better luck.

That's why you don't use polish (paint) remover!! Next time try a fingernail, elbow grease, goo-gone, or duct tape.
