Is there any aftermarket IPS / VA compatible with HP DM4-1165DX?

    The laptop has a 14.0" TN 1366x768 40pin LVDS (1ch, 6bit) glossy display ( LP140WH2 TL Q1).

    Still no reply? :(

I am wondering would the Samsung LTN140KT09-801 work?

It has size and mounting holes by the looks of it. It also has a higher resolution 1600x900, matte screen, 16.2M colors.

The thing that is different is the Signal interface which is 2ch, 8 bit instead of 1ch, 6bit on the stock screen.

Simple answer is no. If there was, I would have one fitted in my 8470p.
Only option is to go for a "good" TN screen or get such a new laptop that it accepts modern IPS panels.
