My laptop stay on desk all time so I made new shoes from hard black rubber for each corner.I raise laptop 1/4".You can see factory shoes in the middle of laptop.New shoes are not glued ,just tight fit.Temp drop is around 5-7C and my desk is no longer warm.
I made cooler but I just find out that I don't like when laptop seat so high on cooler.

Very nice! Good job, it looks professional!
-
Thats actually not a bad idea, probably better than the two cd cases I use to prop mine up haha.
-
looking good!
-
Look good, What did you use and where can a person find that rubber you use to raise it.
-
That's a good idea if you only use it on a desk. Laptop feet are a bit less 1/8" tall on most laptops, so they aren't annoying on your lap.
I might do this to my P7811FX, I only use it on a desk and I have to prop it up to keep it from overheating.

I took 8 poker cards, fowed em to 1/4th the size, and taped 4 of such cards on top of each other. I used those 2 'fowed-pokercard-blocks' for months untill I finaly bought my laptop cooler (logitech, with 1 fan), which raises my cpu temperature by 10 celcius instead of dropping the temperature xD.
