I just bought a dell latitude l400 and I want to mod it. I was thinking using some of those vinyl films instead of painting it which was my first idea.

let me know what you think i should do.

Well, if you're going to do either paint or vinyl you need to be comfortable COMPLETELY disassembling your laptop in order for it to come out well.

Well, I think I'm comfortable doing that because I'm always taking stuff apart but if you have any ideas let me know.

How about something like the carbon mod described in another post on this site?
