    hi guys
iv just bought a Hp Pavilion Dv6-2113sa laptop and would like some options to improve the cooling.
every things working ok at the moment so i would like to do some work to prevent any future overheating.
    its idling 48c>>55c..seems to fluctuate.
    under load 60c>>70
i striped it down and gave it a good clean + a fresh skim of arctic silver 5..............didt really make much difference.
i then found this thread which in theory looks the way to go...........and looks pretty neat.
Modding the Hp-dv6 laptop (Model 6199) to reduce the high temperature
my main question is what do people think of the copper shim mod which was all the rage some time ago.dos it make a difference to the cooling??
    can it do any harm??
was thinking it may be a good idea to do while its striped again.
iv watched some videos and people seem to have different opinions.......
some people shim cpu/gpu and north bridge. or just gpu. why shim the cpu??
    all suggestions welcome :)

70C is not bad for a laptop. My M11 would hit 80 and was stable.
