Hello,
I have a HP Pavilion Media Center dv6278ea with Windows XP SP3.
I like to use the bip sound to warn me if I accidentally press the Caps lock key, but the bip is extremely loud, if I use hear phones, it makes me jump on the chair.
Is there any way to decrease the volume of this sound?
I don not want to disable it.
I searched for all the *.wav sounds on the C: drive but did not find it there.
No option for it on the audio control volume.
Is it a .wav sound?
Thanks
Yoram David

you control it from the master volume, the PC Beep part
if the Beep don't appear, then go to Option - Properties and check the PC Beep -
Thanks...
I wish it was that easy, perhaps it is and I am missing something here.
I do not have this option here.
What I get is this:
It is in Portuguese, but I think it is self-explanatory.
No option for bip.sound
Thanks.

Humm.. XP as I said in first post.
There is no control volume for bip.sound in the accessibility option under keyboard, just use it or not.
Have you read my threat?
