I did a thread just below about how i messed up the look on one of my plastic surrounds on my vaio laptop, i have searched high and low for both new and 2nd hand on the internet and i can`t find anywhere that sells plastic fascia parts for Sony Vaio`s including ebay etc. I am in the UK.

My laptop is a Vaio model VGN-AR51SU, i am fairly sure the later AR61ZU and AR71ZU use still use the same chassis and plastics, if i contacted Sony direct do you think they would sell me one ? From past experience they are not the easiest people to deal with.

Try Sony VAIO Parts, located in the UK; for partial plastics, they state the following:
    Hope that helps.
