I need help with any resources anyone may have on where to get the various different colors of the color shifting paint. Like green to blue to purple or yellow to red to purple. A source for that is my first problem.

My second problem is I have no idea the most efficient way to get the entire laptop (lid, around the screen, around the keyboard and track pad, around the ports and rear and on the bottom. I am guessing i'd have to disassemble everything which I've never done before and am weary of doing. Is there any other way to do it? Maybe only do the lid, around the screen and around the keyboard and palm rest. I'm thinking it might be too hard to do the base around all the ports and junk.

Is there any guides out there on where to get color shifting paint and how to apply it to a notebook?

You're going to have to disassemble the laptop, and take those parts off. Then, I'd lay some primer down and then paint it in layers every hour or so.
