I let my BEAST go free (E8435 tdp 45watts, same as T9900). Pictures are all that remains.

All jokes aside, I used my old ADDA fan and attached it to a usb wire, hooked up only black and red, cause thats all i needed. Used an old binder as you can see up there, and now I have my very own Frankenstein cooling mod. Please if you have any ideas for the cosmetics and all that, dont forget to leave me some advice. I left the bottom tray out cause it barely has any holes in it to let some air in.
The Temps on LOAD. Doing a CPU stress. Much better than having it go over 100C.

All Im asking is to give me some ideas about how to create a cooling mod that looks a little(i mean lot lol) nicer than what Ive got now.

Haha, that's one way to do it. I made this little guide like 4 years ago, but I would not recommend powering the fan this way :D The cardboard worked for 4 years extremely well though.

Here is my latest iteration. Please don't laugh lol

Maybe that'll give you some ideas, like using a slim fan, mounting directly to the laptop with some standoffs, make something out of cardboard will work better than that binder, although that binder is a really great idea.

Might I suggest a grill over that fan? Seems just a hair dangerous.
