Do any HP dv9000 series (or dv6000 series for that matter) owners have a Skin-it for their machine? I have a dv9000t, and last spring when I ordered a Skin-it, I found it didn't fit too well due to the rounding on the HP's edges and corners. The material couldn't sit flat, so the edges and corners wanted to bunch up, which frankly looked like crap.
My question: has Skin-it reduced the dimensions of the HP skins so their edges sit just before the laptop covers begin their sloping edges and corners? I'm interested in getting a new one for my machine for my impending deployment (may as well get the ACU camo pattern!), but won't bother if the material will still bunch up at the corners and not lay flat on the edges because of the styling of HP's laptop covers...
Any input would be appreciated- photos would be a real plus (the HP Skin-it site seems to show that the Skin-it material no longer tries to go over the edges/corners to the seam of the actual laptop cover, but it's still a little unclear to me) since Skin-it only shows a picture of the design, not the actual design INSTALLED. Conveniently, the only pictures of any HP laptop they seem to have is of the front of the machine while it's open...
Thanks

HP was giving these away in December (and my still be giving them away) so I got one for my dv9500t. They have reduced the overall size so it stops short of the corners and leaves a black frame around the skin. This would not have been a big deal but I ordered a Pirates of the Carribean skin that had a white background which looks odd with a black frame around it. For the price I cant complain but I suppose its better than having the rounded corners wrinkled and bunched up once its applied.
BTW here is the link for a free skin on CTO HP laptops:

So if you were to order a skin with a dark background the black frame would not be as noticeable. There is a post around here somewhere with pictures from a bunch of us that posted our new skins, try a search for it and decide what you like best.
