I am looking for some help

I have my prototype chassis for the octitron basically done.
I need to have some panels cut precisely out of 1/16" steel/aluminum panels
I am working on updating my CAD files to the exact measurements I need.

If anyone has access to a mill/laser cutter please let me know via PM

The OCTITRON lives! I had almost given it up for dead after not hearing anything for so long. :p

Hey, for that matter, didn't you say a couple months ago that it was no more?

It's K-TRON's homemade laptop project. He's building this thing from the ground up.

    Thanks David, I know ;)
We have a Vytek monster cutter and an American Laser. The shop manager does not let anyone cut metal on them.

Thanks X2P, I will check them out.

Mastershroom, I was only joking about quitting my project.

I have just about everything finished other than the keyboard and touchpad. My current keyboard isnt satisfying me, so I am looking for a new one

Jeeze, you had me going there for a while. :p
With a 24" display, you can easily fit a Logitech G15 in there, with the LCD display too. Or perhaps some other full-size backlit keyboard, like the Logitech Illuminated Keyboard.

Just a thought... you might try a local signage company. Such shops may have the equipment you're talking about.

    K-Tron...
here's some places you can look at...

    www.RFQWork.com
good website and has some folks with machine shops and you can get good quotes from there.

    http://www.acncs.com/home.html
this is more a CNC router based cutting service.

signage companies, the larger ones, should have cnc router... used to cut foamboards to alum sheets...

Like Kinghong1970 and Mr. B quoted...Sign shops(big ones) should have laser cutters or cnc router. If you're just cutting alum sheets then it won't really matter which one. There is also water jet cut.
