    It won't void the warranty...as far as how it looks, that's personal preference.

    I don't think that skin type will look good unless you customize the dimensions. The e1705 lid is not just a flat, big surface. It has the emblem, curve over "Inspiron" on the bottom, as well as the raises and dips on the white bumpers.

    You might be able to get them to customize the dimensions. You could have the Dell emblem spot cut out so you still see it. You could also have them cut out the bottom around the "Inspiron" area.

    Also, the dimensions won't work. You will have to get a bigger one because the notebook is 15.5 in wide but the skin is only 15 wide.

    Dude thx for posting that link. I was going through the skins and I saw one of HAL from 2001 A Space Odyssey. Very very cool!
