    Anyone know a good shop? I'd looking to put sort of stripey accents on. I suppose we could source someone and test various adhesive vinyls but I'm not looking to reinvent the wheel.

    Or even better, if anyone knows someone who can print (single colour is fine) and cut Invisibleshield-like material to order...?

    Check Ebay, some of those people are able and willing to do custom designs.

    Shouldn't decalgirl.com be able to do this? Not sure about the quality though.

    I bet most decal/vinyl companies offer this if you just email them and ask.

    Actually not altogether true. While it is true that notebooks are not generally specified as an application for the following vinyl cutters on eBay, they decals/stickers they cut will work on your laptop, and they will/do accept custom orders.

    Note that I am not affiliated with any of these folks, nor do I get (nor do I want) a 'cut of the action' - but since I was recently looking for something similar I thought I'd share what I found.

    REQUEST:
    By the way, if anyone knows somewhere we can get replacement medallions (let's say for the DELL medallion on my new Vostro 3500), that would be a nice thing to know about. TIA
