Has anyone here ever compared, in person (not photos) custom painted laptops from Falcon Northwest and AVA Direct? Either side by side or one after the other? If so which one was better and why?

Not interested in hearing anything about pricing or paint jobs from any other company, just those two. Thanks.

I have two laptops custom painted from Voodoo,
honestly the paint job is quite nice at a distance, and feels good when using it. The paint has held up well.
I had another laptop custom painted, it looks phenomenal in comparison, but it just doesnt feel the same - it feels like a professionally painted car

Most manufatcurers put 2 coats of paint and 1-2 coats of clear

The paint job should be better for the falcon, they have auto paint specialitsts there. However that comes at a large price difference

    So much for that.

In any case, I have a friend that owns a custom painted Falcon Northwest laptop. The paint job, quite frankly, is above superb. It appears to be almost baked on, leading me to believe that the paint won't easily chip, as other cheaper custom painted systems might. The paint is also quite thick and its luster is deep and whorl free.

As for AVA Direct, I've never seen a custom painted system from them, laptop or otherwise.
