Since I get my laptop back to alive after baked it. I noticed that there were black tape in certain places. Few places which I remember:
    - Most of ports (HDMI, usb...)
    - Under ram sticks
    - Possible top of CPU and GPU (not sure)
    - Inside corners (could be those ports taped)
Were those inportant? I threw them away when I thought the laptop will never
be able to run again. But it run again. So this why Im asking this.

    And extra question:
    1. Core itself is badly damaged from left rear where fan is located. I can see heat sink is that is the correct term. Anyway does that affect at all? Cooling issues? Or is it good to go?

I think I understand your first question.

I do not think that you need to have tape on those spots. However, I think the idea is that the tape would shield from static discharge or a short circuit. You may want to put something else down on the board for the same purpose.

I don't understand you second question.
