Thanks for reminding me. I have to remove the massive sticker from my Toshiba U405D. I was always a fan of keeping a machine looking new by keeping stickers on, but they do get dirty, making the machine look even worse as it ages.
Thanks for the tips. -
I never get those stickers and why people leave them on. I want to ask the people that leave them on if they leave the window sticker on their brand new car that states its features and mpg up on their car as well so it looks new...
yes thats how dumb leaving stickers on your laptop sounds too...
Remove them by pealing them off. If there is anything left use an adhesive remover such as goo gone. -

just peel it out and then grab some cleaner wax or any type of polishing compound. Swirl remover works wonders.
-
Got to be careful wth some adhesive - they tend to remove any gloss or sheen on your casing as well.

Use goo-gone or similar. Don't use acetone or ammonia based (glass) cleaners. Rubbing alcohol might work as the thing to try first, since that's something you probably have on hand. -
2nd that, don't use acetone... it does indeed get rid of most things, maybe too much things... you don't want your glossy laptop to become matte behind the stickers do you?
