So whats the best way to remove scratches from my laptop cover??
My laptop cover is scratched up pretty badly, so I'm looking for an inexpensive way to remove the scratch marks.
I heard that some people use ScratchDocter. I haven't tried it yet, but I would like to know if there are better alternatives I can get if ScratchDocter is not the best.

Would is still work if I use only Meguiar's Scratch X??

it should work, but make sure you clean off the plastic with soap/water, then isopropyl alcohol after that.

Awesome for my Netbook, if needed!

My method is "free":
1. Put about about 4 Pea sized dab of tooth paste on the cover of your laptop, spread them out with your fingers until the cover is covered
2. Use a damp microfiber or regular damp towel to rub the laptop cover in circle motion. Once you give it a thorough rub, turn the towel upside down and rub with the clean side again until there's no more toothpaste visible.
3. Clean your towel, then rub with your damp clean towel on the laptop cover to remove any residue
4. Rub the laptop cover with a bath towel to remove the water vapor and prevent drying/evaporating mark.
For more "badly scratched" laptop cover, if you're going to use the toothpaste method, you'll need to rub for a long time.
Using this method, i was able to restore my badly scratched glossy acer apsire one to mirror finish with no visible scratch. Even fogging it up with my breath doesn't reaveal any scratch. -
^anyone ever tried that?
