Still looking for a laptop and was wondering about the turbo mode and if it can be on all the time?
I was considering modding the rear door for better venting so to cool it better, but is the turbo mode just for use when you need power or is it no problem to leave it on permanently?

The turbo mode is "on tap" In otherwords it will ramp the processor speed as and when the power is required. If you had it on all the time it would cause heat issues and battery life would suffer.
