So I am pretty new to laptops, only had one for a little over a month, I've always been on desktops and have been modding them for years.
Anyways, I am joining the Air Force soon, and I was wondering if anyone had seen any cool Air Force decals, or paint jobs, and where they came from. I would love to find something cool to put on my new vostro 1500.
Let me know =)
Thanks!
John.

Just about any notebook painter will put any image you give them on your notebook. I've heard good things about laptopdesignusa.com, but you may want to shop around and see if anyone in the forums recommends other companies.

Well I didnt really have an image in mind, just wondering if there were a few choices anywhere. How much does a job usually cost?
-
It varies from shop to shop. I think laptopdesignusa.com is around $150, but I'm not sure.

Get a copy of your favorite "air force" picture and have schtickers make a skin for you - $25
-
Do they do "full body" skins or just a sticker that you throw on the top, like a decal or something..?
I would like the areas like the palm rests etc customized as well. -
it would just be a sticker for the lid, but there are several options
You can match the edges to the notebook color so it does not look like a skin.
Or it is very cost effective when used after painting the notebook a single color. Put the skin on and then clear the whole thing. Will save on the cost of airbrushing. This is what xoticpc does. You can probably do this yourself or get it done for <$150.
If you want paint, LDUSA starts at about $189 + shipping. -
Don' t have any suggestions for the notebook but congrats on embarking on an Air Force career. It is a great service to be part of. And thank you for the service to our country.
