I have decided to make a poll version of what Dan_Aykroyd topic made. I figure a poll will be a lot better because it will be a lot easier to see the results rather then flipping through pages!

wheres the "none option" i like the stickers, i think they are a good detail to laptop computers and desktop computers. i keep them all.

I remove all of them, especially the large ones.
I like the Intel, Windows etc. stickers but they look ugly after a while, and when you then want to remove them, then you're lost. The plastic around the stickers changed the color and the plastic below the sticker has the original color which then, after you removed the sticker, catch your's eye, so I remove them after a month or so, too, before the color difference is noticeable. -
I couldn't vote..there was no option for *none* or *other*...
I haven't removed any stickers *yet*...My Intel Core2 Duo sticker is starting to move sideways...So, I assume it will come off, or I will remove it eventually!
Otherwise, I just let them be.

I took ALL of the stickers off, except for the ones underneath the laptop
They take away from the design of the notebook, and IMO they are eyesores. I mean I spent $1k+ on a laptop, not stickers, but the laptop itself.
/rant -
I think they are an eyesore. To me it's like getting a nice car with a bunch of Penzoil, Goodyear, Monroe Shocks, etc. stickers stuck on the hood. -
all have to go. the day i get one they all come off
-
If you live them they'll get dirty. So: +1.

I removed the ones mentioned above -
I leave on the CPU/Vista/and (if i had one) GPU Stickers. Everything else, is removed.
-
I dont remove any stickers. I like them
I custom made a ATi X1400 sticker and a Quadro FX2500M sticker
I have to make a core 2 extreme one soon

Ive thought about buying an nVidia Sticker. I want one.
-
i like my laptop like i like my girls. clean and shaven.

Woah this is a cool poll, I didn't think much people would take out the OS sticker and the Intel ones. To my surprise I was wrong
!
-
-
I remove the ones that are big and right under your palms and most of the warning an caution labels, but leave the rest intact.

I remove all my stickers. I like the clean look better!
-
Personally, I like case badges, as long as they don't look cheap !
That's why I made my own by buying clear domes from the link below, then printing whatever I wanted on my notebook,i.e. Vista, nVidia, Blu Ray, then applying clear dome, then apply to notebook.
Will have pics. soon !

I keep all the badges and stickers on for as long as possible. I just think it makes it look newer.
-

Right now I have the OS, CPU & GPU stickers on mine. I'm considering taking them off. But if I change my mind i cant go back
-

-
My Vista sticker started peeling
So, I had to remove, and get that sticky crud off the bottom last night!
Rubbing alcohol working like a charm!

I would definitely have to remove the big ones. Soooooo ugly. I like the ones that tell the specs of the computers, though.

I kind of like them, just as the above said, they have specs on them, but eventually they just accumulate filth and really just need to be removed.
-
I get rid of all of them the day they're pulled out of the box.
-
There's no laptop in the house (yet) with those big stickers that show about the stats of the notebook, all with the Intel/Vista/GPU, etc stuff. I don't mind those, and I like it personally.
But I wouldn't want it with those big stickers personally. -
I remove all. It gives the laptop a clean look without all the stickers on it.
-
I keep the warning sticker and the Intel centrino / windows vista sticker on the laptop. The big ones get taken out and put on a peice of paper which is then stuck in the laptops box so i can put them back on for resale.
-
-
I don't removed any of them because they don't bother me at all.
-
I removed all of them right away. They get in the way, and whoever puts them on never does it evenly.
-

i feel it will leave some residue which are very sticky so just leave it on.
-
I just got rid of the HSDPA advertisment on my Vaio... and the dlna certified one - they started to peel and thus annoy.
I still have my Vista, Centrino and NVidia stickers.
No other stickers were on my SZ.
On my old Medion I removed the warning labels on the palmrest. -
-
Stickers are gone during the unboxing/setup phase.
-
I hate the stickers they put on them, so I remove them all
-
meguires yellow wax available at auto zone remove any glue left over as if it was water. takes it literally right off with no surface damage at all
-
I remove all stickers. I don't like to make free publicity. If they want me to advertise brands they must pay me.
-
I leave intel Centrino,Vista,Blue-Ray and FullHD 1080
-
The only stickers that remain are those placed underneath.
I understand manufacturers placing the stickers all over the inside/top for display and advertising models, but production notebooks (and desktop towers) should have them placed underneath or out of sight, if at all.
(Poll Version) Do you remove the stickers of new laptops? Which stickers? All?
