This is real but good luck finding a Walmart that will still have these in stock on Saturday ... this ad will go public very soon, expect lines.

And for those non believers Walmart does similar deals to this every year. They have one or two weekends that they do door busters before black Friday.

 

Im really not into Xbox. But I sure wanna get tihis deal. Anyone what are features in this arcade version?
Is it just the console or it has all the accessories?
And no hdd if Im correct?

No HDD, no network cable, standard video cable. Everything else is basically the same.

 

So, can I upgrade hdd on my own or it is just not possible?
Also what sort of Network cable is that?
So, Arcade version only plays 360 but not classic ones?

 

You have to buy an Xbox360 HDD.

It's just a regular CAT5 network cable. You can use any old one lying around your house.

Well, the Arcade version IS backwards compatible (all the same internals and firmware as the Elite version), but you need a HDD to play the games. That is because the original Xbox used it's internal HDD to cache game files, pre-loading files, etc. Without the HDD, there is no space for the Xbox to store those files, so it won't be able to play the original Xbox games.

Really good deal. You could buy this and then use the gift card to buy a 120GB HD. Its like paying $225 for an Elite.

If it's an Xbox 360 HDD, then you just unplug all the cables, pop off the protective cover on the left side (left as in left of the disk drive), and then pop the HDD into the spot. It's really quite simple, I'm sure you'll see how to do it once you see the Xbox.

 

Yup, its a xbox hdd. I am eagerly waiting for this saturday.

I was really thinking to do some grocerries rather buy online.

Bought one for the family today and got a $100 in-store gift card.

 

I didn't need one but couldn't pass on this deal. The GC is good both online as well as at any Walmart or Sam's Club stores.

 

So who bought today?

It was limited in quantity. I heard in some Walmarts the limited quantity went out in 30 minutes. In fact, amazon has the same deal this morning as the golden box deal, and I think all the 360 were claimed in like 40 seconds. ....

 

The Walmart I went to in S.W. Florida had at least 35 in the electronics section on an end cap and three behind the glass case.

 

My Wal-Mart only had like 15 and we got the second to last one.

 

got two and already sold them for $190 via craigslist so that was a net $180 bonus

 

So are they still having it?
