I'm finally upgrading from my Athlon 550 to a Dell e1505 with a 2 MHz core duo and X1400 video card. I'd like to get into games again, which I've missed for the past few years. Where should I go for the best values on games like Doom3 and Half-Life 2?

I buy a lot of my games (when I buy them, which isn't often) from Amazon. Sometimes you can find them being sold used there for a pretty good bargain.

Well, Samgoody is going out of business at my local mall this week, so I bought Quake4 and Unreal Tournament 2004 for only 36 dollars. Great buy I thought. If you have a Samgoody, I would go check that out.
