    Almost no sooner than I posted the special at Newegg for the Western Digital (WD) Elements 1.5TB external hard drive (HD) when I saw this price for its larger sibling at Amazon. If you don't mind its need for a separate AC power source and its lack of portability, this is an even better price for a very capacious external HD and is ideal for the PC pack rat. I regret I bought this same drive a month ago for $25 more.
