    Found this on SD
Best deal by far for a 1TB USB 3.0 portable HDD, I'd feel bad if I didn't share :D . I already have one and it's considerably smaller than my Seagate 1TB.

    Western Digital® My Passport® Essential™ SE 1TB Portable Hard Drive-USB 3.0 | Staples®

On sale for $79.99 ($89.99 for silver) after instant savings. This is already the lowest price I've seen for any portable 1TB USB 3.0 HDD.
To make it even lower, buy a "$25 off $75+ purchase" coupon to make it $54.99 + tax + coupon price

i guess it is if you buy the coupon from ebay. sucks that people just dont share. people will sell the dirt under their fingernails if they think they can make a buck on it.

    well still not $55 shipped

    $80 - $25 + $3 coupon + tax (~ 6-10%) > $60.

In any case still a good deal. Wish I had seen it sooner.

Very nice hard drive. Reasonably fast. I kinda don't like the fact that it doesn't have eSata though. Still, I think this is the cheapest 1 TB hard drive you can buy out there.

it is very nice. it's about half the size and weight as the Seagate 1TB.

Ok... my mistake for putting $55 shipped, it should've been $55 shipped + tax + coupon = ~$60
Regardless, they typically go for $90 elsewhere so I don't know why people are complaining

    why?

i guess it is if you buy the coupon from ebay. sucks that people just dont share. people will sell the dirt under their fingernails if they think they can make a buck on it.

i would've siad someting more along the lines of "want to buy the brown stuff sticking to my shoe? it's fresh."
