Ah dude you're killing me with these Toshiba deals! I may have to pick one of the 2 you have threads about even though I'm waiting till Windows 7.

In for one even though i'm of the same mindset as Mr. President. I was hoping to wait it out for Windows 7 and you had to spoil it by posting this deal. Amazing price for what you get. :D

I hope these guys are reputable? ;)

If I was in the market for a 16" entertainment notebook, I'd buy one of these in a heartbeat!

I know a lot of folks are holding off on buying until June 28 to get the free Windows 7 upgrade. I'm just afraid that the deals may not be as good then as they are now???

IDK, I have a hard believing there won't be a flood of back to school deals come July/August.

You're probably right...until the economy rebounds and people start spending again, the awesome deals will likely continue...

But it's a great time to be in the market for a new notebook! There are some really great deals out there.

Does anyone know how Toshiba is with driver support?

I canceled my order because I don't want to be stuck with a laptop I can't move to Windows 7. This deal is even better than the HP dv6t with 30% off, and the graphics card in the Toshiba has better benchmark numbers than the HD 4530 which adds $150 to the dv6t. It's a cracking deal.

Oh and HHGREGG is a solid company. I found that out first hand when canceling my order. Now i'm second guessing my decision. I have a 15.4", 17" laptop and a 16" would compliment those two.
