This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Just today I saw the Toshiba Satellite A105-S4334 Notebook with Core 2 Duo T5200 1.6GHz, 15.4in WSGA LCD, 2GB RAM, 160GB HDD, DVD burner, 802.11a/g WiFi, XP Media Center for $999.99 at BestBuy.com. I think this is a good price for this configuration:
