    Toshiba's first configurable "Centrino 2" Satellite model is now available at ToshibaDirect.com. It is the L300 15.4" model and starts at $629.20 after the discount. The base specifications are as follows-

    Windows Vista Home Basic (Home Premium is FREE upgrade, Vista Business $100 or Vista Business/XP Pro downgrade $110)
    2.0GHz Intel Pentium Dual Core T3200 (T5800- $85, P8400- $200)

    It's a pretty good deal if you're frugal with the upgrades! FYI- the new T3200 Pentium Dual Core is 2.0GHz, 667MHz FSB with 1mb L2. The FSB upgrade from the 1.86MHz and 533MHz FSB of the T2390 should translate into significantly improved performance.
