The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Link. Lenovo Thinkpad R50 auction starting at $299 with 7 available, or just save the effort of bidding and buy one now for $319. Pentium M 1.4ghz, 256mb x 1 ddr with one available slot for additional ram, 30gb hdd, cd rewritable plus dvd drive, Intel gma 950 graphics, 802.11a/b/g wifi, 14.1" 1024x768 screen, 5.8 pounds, Windows XP Pro preinstalled.

    Buy an extra 512mb of ddr ram for 30-40 bucks (for 768mb total) and this is one excellent deal for the business user on a budget.
