Also, this is similar to Bing Cashback: "ebates.com"..but I think a bit easier. I've been doing it for savings for a bit of time: Coupons, Promo Codes and Cash Back Savings - Ebates.com, you go thru their site like you would Bing CB for you purchase! Some days they even have Double % CB savings. I believe when you first sign-up for the site & provide an e-mail you get a choice of a few Gift Cards from stores, or bankable ebates cash to your account. Yeah, and Walmart & Amazon had some good TV deals over the weekend also. Seemed liked Amazon was Price matching a few of the deals that Walmart was having, which is a very good thing.

After all the retards I've encountered while buying something from Sears...... let's just say I'd much rather spend my time haggling with clueless Dell sales reps. In fact, compared to them, Dell is awesome. (Which generally isn't. )

 

I hope Dell or Amazon has some nice TV deals close to Turkey Day. Last year was pretty exciting.

 

Yeah, I would think Dell's BF deals will come out w/in the next week or so. What size TV? Those Vizios have been having good deals on them as of late. And, have the Sharp Aquo's.

I would avoid the Toys R' Us netbook unless you have very limited use cases. It most likely runs Windows CE and appears to be similar to the netbook that my employer (not Toys 'R US) is currently hawking:

Haha when i heard that part i was like ...uh what?
It was weird because in some cases you could tell he knew what he was talking about but hearing mistakes like that threw me off hahaha.

 

Which part did you hear that make you think he knew what he was talking about? Cause none of it made me feel he knew anything he was talking about.

 

I was impressed that he knew a bit about the Windows CE operating system. While he didn't fully connect his ideas together (Windows CE underpins Windows Phones....) he articulated his limited knowledge in a way that shows he wasn't some random guy who assumed that it would run standard Windows apps.

 

Oh, I didn't mean to make fun of him. Of course, no one is computer expert and the review is well appreciated. I was referring to that Sylvania thing... that looks like.... something.

Yeah, they had the Toshiba at Sears yesterday for $900, but then I got to pay tax and I got no truck to pick it up. I'll keep looking. I'd prefer a name brand to a no-name unless someone can convince me otherwise. A year from now they'll all be $900.

It's so hard like laptops to sift through all the info. One person says LED is a must have while another says it's not, same for 240hz vs 120hz, etc.

 

Oh that was for the Sear's F&F sale. That was a nice deal. : )
Keep looking bet. now & BF, and even after BF..there will always be deals, like you said. Even closer to Xmas there may be something good. Sometimes, Dell even has some pretty good savings on name brand TV's. Their BF Ad isn't out yet. And, Amazon's BF deals are set to be released on 11/22, and Newegg's fairly soon.
