And unless you're FSB overclocking, are you really going to notice the difference other than in a benchmark? Not that any notebook other than a Sandy Bridge Extreme is going to run a SODIMM at 1600 MHz anyway.

If you look at the Kingston ram modules, they have heatsinks attached. This may not work for everyone; especially when laptop models have their ram sockets stacked together.

It would work fine in a M6500, although only quad core will be able to use the 1333 MHz memory at full speed.

    It says only 30 days?
    Am I misleading?

Would this work well with my Thinkpad T500? Anyone with a T500 that has tried these sticks? My laptop currently has 2GB (2X1GB)...seems kinda slow nowadays, the hdd always spinning up leading me to believe that it doesn't have enough RAM (hdd paging file, etc.)

I'm aware that the T500 only runs DDR3 at 1066...but I still plan to get 1333 RAM for only like 2bucks more so I can swap it out in the future if necessary.

yes it will work, you can add up to 8gb on the t500, you need the DDR3-1066

I need DDR3-1066? But I've heard that it's fine to get DDR3-1333...it will just run at 1066 speeds though. I might as well get 1333 since it's like 2bucks more.
