Found a great deal on a joystick for you guys.

Dell has it marked down to $35.00 w/ Free Shipping (list price $79.00)

This is the standard fightstick not the really nice tournament edition, its marketed for XBOX 360 but just like the XBOX 360 controllers work on PC so does this joystick.

I got one it should hold me over well for some MAME action.

I think later when I find a good deal for a TE stick I will get one of those so I can have 2 players again (may order another one of these for 3 players on games like The Simpsons or X-Men)

what's the difference between this and tournament edition? IS the TE more accurate and responsive? I just started playing SF4 on PC again, but am afraid that, if the game is played daily, my laptop's keyboard will suffer significantly.

This is the bulk produced average joe joystick. Nothing admirable about the components used but it gets the job done.

The TE is made in limited quantities, cost over 2x more, but it uses authentic Sanwa parts so its exactly like what your using in the arcades.

This would be good for playing with friends or casual gaming, but you would want to build your own or get a TE for enthusiast competitive play.

Since my main goal is for Mame games I do not need some super nice joystick to play pacman or something.

I actually have two joysticks I built myself using authentic Happ parts (what is found on American arcade cabinets) just that I do not have my control panel rebuilt and hooked up yet. However since my self built one works on the Wii I may have to do it soon so I can play Tatsunoko vs Capcom :D

Actually I think I will get a TE stick later in life and mod it to work on the Wii.
