When Black Friday rolls around, do you think it will go down further in price or any other SSD (don't really care about the performance of the SSD because I will be replacing a HDD, so it will be an overall improvement)?

I'm waiting on black Friday, there's always some crazy sale on cpu parts.

This deal is about $10-$15 off.

Can't tell for other sellers but Newegg will give many same deals on other SSDs. Many different moels and brands fr about the same price (whereas maybe 10$ less at bets for average trusted SSD). Plus they always try to sell junk like OCZ Vector 2 refurbished for twice lower :D

I would buy this because Plextor is famous not just for it's performance (it is not the fastest for sure but if you speak for 128GB size then they are on the 2-nd place) BUT they are also very reliable. Same as Crucial M4 or Samsung 830 and above.

eh price to be honest. I wouldn't bother with anything less than 256 or 512GB You dont just get more storage you also get better speeds and at a better price.

I was buying it for someone that had a laptop from 2008 and the biggest improvement would be from a 5400 rpm HDD to SDD. She wasn't looking to break the bank and she only browses the web.

Plextor M5 doesn't sacrifice much performance with 128GB vs 256GB like previous gens of other SSD's frequently would.
