Well that was quick. Thanks for pointing that out - I edited the thread title to reflect the current price.

    Mine should be here tomorrow.

Came in today - haven't tried out the hokey LG software to tell Windows it's more than one screen.

So far, so good. Only complaint would be that my D5000 WiGig dock won't support 2560 x 1080 + another screen wirelessly. Still, can't really complain.

Nice. If it was 120Hz and G-sync, I might bite.

haha, so true. I think I'm spoiled now. I should have never gone 144Hz and never gone G-sync.

For the $200 I spent, I'm pretty happy. For the Civ I've been playing on it, it's certainly more than enough.

I don't doubt it. Nice LCD. I've been perfectly fine with 60hz on laptops for years. Just I've been spoiled. 21:9 does seem good for games like Civ and for sims and heck any game that supports it with proper FOV.

Yeah, my only complaint with the newer Civ is no kb shortcut for "End Turn' - this means I need to mouse all the way across the widescreen to get to the button in the lower right corner. This wouldn't be an issue if I were using a normal mouse instead of a wireless all-in-one keyboard with a touchpad.
