    Hello,

According to this website, http://www.aacb.com/tools/tariffguide.htm, Category 5 items (which include computer and computer related items) says that is no duty on those items ? Does that mean Canadian customers can buy from XoticPC and such without paying Duty. Anyone have experience from buying from USA online stores (specifically Sager and Compal Laptops) .

    Thanks, comments/replies appreciated....

Not exactly sure, but if I remember correctly, there are no duties on electronics that are manufactured in North America. But most electronics are made in China anyways :p.

As mentioned, electronics that aren't made in North America will get charged a duty fee. In addition, upon entering customs, you will be charged taxes depending on what province you live in, both GST and PST.
