    I looked into that particular piece of the rebate and it would not work for somebody who was using a free product. I am using NOD32 and can send in my confirmation email showing I purchased the license.

    I don't think I will be taking advantage of this deal, though, because I am hearing too many negatives about NIS 2009.

    Feedback about NIS 2009 was initially promising, but Symantec seemed to mess it up.
