This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Sorry if this has been postred before but, i just discovered microsoft technet, which is a subscribtion based software solution, basically you pay them $350 for a year subscription and you can download any quantity of any microsoft product including windows 7 rtm. these licenses do not expire and they are completely legit. you just cannot sell them, otherwise Microsoft will come after you with a big stick. and it doesent really say that you have to be an it or developer.....

    It works for me as well. I've been considering getting a TechNet Plus subscription, but am waiting for a $99 student deal again. If none pops up in a reasonable amount of time, I'll use one of these $100 off coupons.
