    Newegg.com - Logitech Z305 Clip-On USB Laptop Speaker

To qualify for the $15 mail-in rebate check from Logitech, the Z305 must be purchased between 12-21-2010 and 12-26-2010 and the rebate form (see URL above) with accompanying receipt copy and UPC codes from packing must be mailed to Logitech address on rebate form by postmark date 01-26-2011.

I recently acquired the USB-powered Z305 to replace malfunctioning stock speakers on my Dell M1330 and I have been very impressed with them; their sound is superior to my stock speakers with good stereo imaging and good frequency response in midrange and treble spectrum and very good sound clarity. The Z305 even rivals some separate speakers, although it is inherently limited by its compact size. The Z305 is an excellent compromise of portability and sound quality and is powered only by a single USB port. Its volume is very high and for many sound sources, I have to keep the media player's volume setting barely above minimum/mute, which is a welcome change to my stock speakers, which required maximum volume for many programs. Even without the $15 rebate, I consider the Z305 a very worthwhile purchase. Check out the buyer reviews on Newegg and Amazon; several of them comment that the Z305 sounded much better than its appearance implied.
