Starting on Sunday 8/20, and ending on 8/26, Staples will have the Logitech V400 Laser Cordless Notebook Mouse for $4.98 AR AC + tax. Thanks nintendoangie for the idea and slickdeals!

    $49.98 + $x filler - ($15 off 40) - $10 instant savings - $20 easy rebate = $4.98 + tax

YMMV regarding that coupon if you do not have the actual coupon. You need a $0.02 filler in order to use the 15/40 coupon.

Again, credit to slickdeals and nintendoangie...

How do we use the coupon? Just print it from our printers?

Sorry, for those of us new to this can you please specify what a "filler" is?

    Thanks

Yes, I think all you need to do is print the coupon off.

A filler is a item that to full fill the require amount inorder to use the coupon.

For example, if you want to buy a mouse that cost $27.99 and you have a coupon $15 off $30 and in this case, your mouse only cost $27.99 so you want to add a filler of $2.01 to meet the requirement which is $30.

How can we add fillers if it's in store purchases? I'm sorry for sounding like a total noob... first time I've ever encountered such a thing!

You can add something cheap like paperclip, pencils, etc...

How does this work... the coupon says "must be met with purchases to which no other coupon or instant savings offer applies." Since the mouse already has a $10 instant saving does it void the coupon?

So the coupon may or may not work depends on your local store.

I used a $15 off $40 color coupon not B&W and had to buy something for 8 cents to fill it. Thanks for the link mikez.

Anyone know if this deal is in Canada/Toronto too? I checked out the Staples in Markham near me and they have no deal going on.. just $69.95 regular.

I'd be interested in that too.. I'm in North Bay (a few hours South of Toronto). I'd be more than happy to give a little extra to the purchaser as well.. I'm sure if there were enough Canadians interested in doing this, then someone could make a couple extra bucks (plus have good karma for the good deed).

    For my Canadian counterparts:

The deal is available to us - I just did it today. In Canada the mouse is 69.99, so it's a little less of a deal. After all is said and done you can pick up the mouse at your local staples for 29.85 (after online rebate thing).

    Cheers.

Bah, $4.98 is pocket change so I'd pick one up for that price for sure. I don't really want to spend $30 on a new mouse when I don't need one though :(

Does anyone have the UPC code for this product? They're ordering it in for me and neglected to put it on my receipt.. I figure it's just as easy to pull it off of the product itself.

    Thanks.

I just found one that appeared to be valid... For others having the same problem, the UPC give to me was 097855033109.

    Enjoy.

I don't think the coupon is still valid but the link works fine to me. Just need a little bit of reading then you'll get it.

And thank you for repping me.
