    will it work with a Zalman NC-2000 notebook cooler on it as well? i wonder if that would be too much

    No, the laptop would probably fall foward. The slant itself should give a decent amount of airflow.

    So you can set up your laptop as if it were a desktop. Raises the viewing angle a bit, lifts it off the ground, etc.

    Basically works best with a wireless keyboard / mouse combo. Very good deal on that thing, five bucks for that is cool with me!

    I was thinking of getting this for my replacement laptop. I figure I can always send it back if it doesn't work out!

    I don't think this stand would work well with your new replacement laptop (Studio 16, correct?). The Stand may be a little undersized for that particular laptop model. width of Studio 16: 15.15". Width of stand: 14"

    Most definitely. The Asus G51 is more like a 17" laptop rather than a 15".
