Hello everyone. There were quite many deals for the X220, but I can't find anything attractive at the moment. I also checked slickdeals, but there's interesting. Anyone? :)

Lenovo's outlet store has them from time to time for $450 and up. The store is highly competative, so refresh it frequently, especially between 12:00-1:00PM EST. They usually seem to add in a dozen or two around that time.

You may have to wait it out or pay the premium if you need it now. The lowest I've seen is a little over $600 on the MasterCard Deal. If you see it at that price, be prepared to move.

Does anyone happen to know if the Amex Link/Like/Love deal is still valid for Lenovo? I don't have an Amex card to check it myself :(

It's 150 off 999? Sort of crappy - anytime you spend 999 or more on a laptop you're getting ripped off anyway..

I check Lenovo outlet frequently and only see 640 + tax. Screw paying TAX on a laptop, by the way. The refurbbed machines are about the same price as retail + coupons.

Any better coupons than 10% off? Or the current Thinkpad anniversary deal? Any way to stack them?

Discover has 5% back at Lenovo.com.

Anyway, based on ZaZ's advice around the forums I'm absolutely locked into the X220. Every time I read display reviews for other laptops I cry a little inside.

Well, you can add a all-covering (including accidental damage) 3-year warranty and hit a few bucks over 1000$. I think that would be a fair price.

lenovo outlet is constantly being looted by bots whose owner then sell off those items on ebay so it's very difficult for an ordinary folk to find any good deal. one has to click add to cart the moment the icon appears after an refresh to get a chance, check the detail later since you got 15mins to complete the order. I don't understand why lenovo couldn't add an anti-bot authentication step like dell outlet does.

Don't forget to add the IPS LCD.
