A couple of people who recently reviewed this drive said their rebate wasn't honored, in spite of providing all necessary documentation. Has anybody here had that experience? I don't really want to buy if Kingston is going to deny the rebate just because they can...

    Thoughts?

I ordered a Kingston SSD when it had a $75 mail-in rebate, and it was honored with no difficulty. I even received the check way ahead of schedule (about 4 weeks vs the 8-12 it usually takes).

Yeah, same here, Kingston was fast, about 4 weeks as well iirc. Intel and OCZ took FOREVER.

Intel claims they never got my form, and I had an OCZ one submitted a month before the Kingston one, yet I got the money from that about 2 weeks after.

I don't know where you heard about this, but Kingston is very good with their rebate in general. You'll hear way more good experience with them than ones with negatives.
