Is this a good deal? Can't figure out Hp model#

The above notebook I am interested in but I wanted to read reviews about it. I know that many stores change models numbers when it is their exclusive so can someone help me. Is this notebook the same as the dv6700 special edition that is on Hp's site? Is this a good deal for this modelor should I keep looking? It has more than what I configured on HP's website (and more than I need)but the price is less(at least today) Also has anyone seen this finish it says it is ceramic white.

It is a somewhat nice config(it has 3gb of ram,a geforce 8400gs and a 1.83 c2d and 320gb(if was the config you were looking for http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...6&lc=en&cc=ca&lang=fr&product=3686711&dlc=fr), a friend of mine bought a little worse laptop than this for 1050 about 3 months ago, but unfortunately I don't know much about notebook pricing here in us.

 

yes its the same model, it just a pre-configured dv6700. if you custom order one it'd be dv6700 CTO(custom to order). that is actually a good deal. got mine for $849 though(see sig...minus 2gb of ram)
