Might be the solution to the availability problems with the GeForce Go 6800's. :D

And you can substitute the current dell coupons to (possibly) get a little more off: (on the nicely-upgraded machine I configured, it was another $100 or so)
    ZJ$ZBMC?LLD249 $750 off purchase of Inspiron $1999+ (expires 2/1/2006 7:00:00 AM)
    HPX2C7BK7TXCM9 $450 off purchase of Inspiron $1599+ (expires 2/1/2006 7:00:00 AM)
    W84?D893NM7DM5 $300 off purchase of Inspiron $1299+ (expires 2/1/2006 7:00:00 AM)

That is kinda odd...basically it looks like a I9300...what is the difference?

These coupons seem to be useless. The Inspirons and E1705 are already 20-25 percent off and you can't combine a coupon with that. So why did they release the coupons? Or am I missing something here?

How would you go about upgrading down the road?

I noticed it only offers the "Intel® Core™ Solo Processor T1300 (1.66GHz/667MHz FSB)"

Is this processor a good one? What about for gaming?

In gaming what matters most is the GPU, this processor should be adequate since it's a step above from the previous one.

Is it just me, or is the ZJ$ZBMC?LLD249 ($750 off) coupon dead now? I tried applying it to the same E1705 I used it for last night, and it won't even show any hint that it went through now, although the other two work... :(
