    If only HP had a configuration of the 8440p with base specs and the 1600x900 screen... good find, nevertheless.

    Just checked HP's site and looks like TD is trying to make the deal sound better than it actually is. Sure fooled me.
    Through HP direct, it is $979 and not the $1399 TD claims the price is marked down from. I guess it could still work out to be a better deal though, there's no sales tax for most plus BCB.

    I hear ya, if they had the 1600x900 screen, I'd probably jump on it and forget about the lack of dedicated graphics.
    I'm really considering the 8540w, decent graphics, 1600x900 is standard, and review said it got better battery life.
